Our press is dedicated to publishing books about any aspect of the Socratic spiritual tradition. This tradition was started by Socrates, and it combines living spiritually and doing one’s worldly duties. Besides Socrates, this tradition includes Plato, the Neoplatonists, the Stoics, and the Enlightenment deists. Contemporary proponents of this tradition include advocates of contemporary Stoicism such as Ryan Holiday.
We are dedicated to making these books accessible to the general public by selling them at a much lower price than other presses. We do not charge any money to authors, nor do we make any money on the books after they are published. We are privately funded by individuals who want to make the Socratic spiritual tradition more widely known.
